Alpha Video Selected to Integrate HD Video Replay Control Room at LP Field
Minneapolis, MN, June 13, 2012. The Alpha Video Sports & Entertainment Group, the leading national video integrator for the sports venue industry, announced today that it has been selected to integrate the high definition video replay control room at LP Field, home of the Tennessee Titans. The new video replay control room is part of a $28 million renovation to the stadium that includes the installation of two large HD videoboards, a video ribbon board, a new distributed sound system and other miscellaneous improvements.
The project involves the installation and integration of multiple Ikegami HDK-77 cameras, two Nucomm wireless camera systems, a Ross Video Vision 3 production switcher, an Evertz Xenon audio and video routing switcher with integrated multi-image viewers, two EVS XT-3 slow-motion systems, multiple Chyron LEX 3.1 character generators, two Click Effects Cross Fire content servers and an Apple Final Cut Pro based editing system.
The installation of the new video replay control room will be completed in time for the kickoff of the 2012 Titans season on August 23 when the Titans play the Arizona Cardinals in a pre-season game.
