Creative Team Manager

Job Description:

The Creative Team Manager will be responsible for the overall management and supervision of the Creative Studio's operations, budgeting, end to end project management, production, resource coordination and team management. Possessing a strong creative operations and production background, the Creative Team Manager, will partner with the Alpha Video Executive team to develop a creative vision and operational model.

Job Duties:
• Oversee the daily operations and resource coordination for the Alpha Creative Team
• Create and manage the project flow, deadlines, resources and schedules, internal and external
• Oversee and manage the project budget, process and reconcile invoices, and manage costs
• Mange the internal creative staff, providing overall vision and direction on productions, ranging from still image to motion graphics, from concept through execution
• Provide support of creative excellence in preproduction, execution and postproduction follow up
• Represent the Creative team by spearheading initiatives and solutions to improve processes to optimize production within set guidelines and deadlines
• Facilitate the concept development and design process of the Department through the direction of Art Directors, Producers, Designers and Customer feedback
• Collaborate with internal marketing team for special projects
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and external talent on fees, terms and usage.
• Train, manage and provide strong leadership and mentorship to the team
• Set clear guidelines and expectations on deadlines and project terms to internal and external partners
• Main contact with cross functional partners
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers and business partners
• Create and maintain productive and effective relationships with internal and external clients and vendors
• Support Alpha Video sales team with presentations and sales opportunities engaging in business development activities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be knowledgeable in the following software applications:
o Adobe Photoshop
o Adobe Illustrator
o After Effects
• Strong creative operations and production background required
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Motion Graphics Design, Creative Operations, Marketing Operations in an ad agency, design studio, production company, or related field
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent required, preferably in Graphic Design/Marketing
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage a creative team and ability to navigate cross functional teams
• Strong creative operations and production background required
